At Mink Digital Design, we aim to provide professional branding, graphic design, website design, and other creative services based on each client’s requirements.
Because many of our services involve custom work, planning, design time, and digital deliverables created specifically for an individual client, refund eligibility depends on the type of service purchased and the amount of work already completed.
Please review this Refund Policy before making a payment.
1. Custom Design Services
Our branding, logo design, graphic design, website design, website development, and other custom creative services are created specifically for each client.
If you request cancellation before work has started, you may contact us to request a refund.
Once work has started, any refund will be assessed based on the work already completed, resources committed to the project, and any non-refundable third-party costs.
Completed and approved custom work is generally not eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law.
2. Deposits & Advance Payments
Some projects may require a deposit or advance payment before work begins.
Unless otherwise stated in your quotation, proposal, invoice, or written agreement, a deposit may be used to reserve project time and cover initial planning and creative work.
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the portion of the payment attributable to work already performed and non-recoverable costs may not be refundable.
Any applicable refund will be calculated based on the circumstances of the individual project.
3. Full Payments
For services paid in full before work begins, refund eligibility depends on the project’s status.
Before work begins: A refund request may generally be considered, subject to any payment processing fees or non-refundable third-party costs where legally permitted.
After work begins: A full refund may no longer be available. Any eligible refund may be reduced to account for work already completed.
After final delivery or approval: Payments are generally non-refundable for completed custom services, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
4. Revisions
A request for revisions is not automatically considered a request for a refund.
Where revisions are included in the purchased package or agreed project scope, we will work with the client through the applicable revision process.
Additional revisions, changes in project direction, or requests outside the original scope may require additional charges.
Please contact us first if you are dissatisfied with a deliverable so that we have an opportunity to understand the issue and determine an appropriate solution.
5. Website Design & Development
Website projects involve planning, design, development, configuration, and other project-specific work.
Once website work has started, payments attributable to completed work are generally non-refundable.
Refunds will normally not be provided solely because:
- The client changes their business plans.
- The client no longer requires the website.
- Required content or feedback is not provided.
- The client changes the original project requirements.
- A third-party service changes its pricing, features, or policies.
- The client purchases another service after the project has begun.
This does not affect any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6. Domain, Hosting & Third-Party Costs
Projects may involve third-party products or services such as:
- Domain registration
- Website hosting
- Premium themes
- Plugins
- Stock images
- Fonts
- Software licenses
- External subscriptions
- Other third-party services
Charges already paid to third-party providers may be non-refundable and will be subject to the applicable provider’s own refund policy.
Where Mink Digital Design has already purchased a third-party product or service specifically for your project, that cost may be deducted from any otherwise applicable refund where permitted.
7. Digital Deliverables
Once final digital files, source files where included, completed designs, or other final deliverables have been supplied and accepted, the corresponding service is generally considered fulfilled.
Refunds are generally not available after final delivery and approval unless there is a material issue that we are responsible for and cannot reasonably resolve, or where applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Client Delays & Inactive Projects
Clients are responsible for providing the information, content, feedback, approvals, and access reasonably required to complete their project.
A project will not automatically qualify for a refund because it has been delayed due to missing client materials, delayed feedback, lack of communication, or other circumstances attributable to the client.
Projects that remain inactive for an extended period may be placed on hold and resumed subject to scheduling availability.
9. Change of Mind
Because our services involve reserving time and producing customized work, a change of mind after work has started does not automatically qualify for a full refund.
Please contact us as early as possible if you wish to cancel a project. The earlier we receive a cancellation request, the greater the possibility that some unearned portion of the payment may remain refundable.
10. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you believe you have accidentally made a duplicate payment or have been charged an incorrect amount, please contact us promptly.
We will review the transaction and, where an incorrect or duplicate charge is confirmed, arrange an appropriate correction or refund.
11. Refund Request Process
To request a refund or discuss a payment issue, please contact Mink Digital Design and provide:
- Your name
- Email address used for the project
- Project or service name
- Invoice or transaction reference, if available
- Date of payment
- Reason for your request
Email: [Your Business Email]
We may request additional information reasonably necessary to locate the transaction and review the request.
12. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned to the original payment method where possible.
After a refund is issued, the time required for it to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
We do not control third-party financial institutions’ processing times.
13. Payment Disputes
If you have a concern about a payment or service, please contact us first so that we can review the issue and attempt to resolve it.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable law or through your payment provider.
14. Exceptions
We may consider exceptional circumstances individually where appropriate.
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or override consumer rights or other remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
15. Changes to This Policy
Mink Digital Design may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect changes to our services, payment practices, or applicable requirements.
Any revised policy will be published on this page with an updated Last Updated date.
